We
needed a portable system that would allow us
to take temperature, pressure and
acceleration data on mobile equipment at
remote sites. The system also had to double
for similar usage within our manufacturing
facility. To make things more difficult, we
needed custom software to run the system that
had a very simple interface, so that a wide
variety of our personnel could use the system
with very little training. The staff at Aegis
Solutions helped us in selecting the proper
system components, and then wrote very
intuitive, stand-alone interfaces in National
Instruments LabVIEW that allowed us to run
the system with less than one hour of
training.
The
Aegis Solutions’ staff really came to
shine when it came to using the equipment for
the first couple of times. They came on site
and worked hand-in-hand with us, and helped
us with all of the start up issues and worked
late into the night at our plant on several
occasions. Their on-site help made everything
run smoothly.
At
one point, one of our engineers ran into a
problem in a very remote location in Canada.
It was Aegis Solutions that made sure that
our engineer had the parts he needed the very
next day. We were back in business …problem
solved!
